今月、大阪市内の自宅で療養中に容体が悪化した新型コロナ患者を救急搬送する際、受け入れ先の病院が決まるまで丸二日近くがかかっていたことが分かりました。　

市消防局は、長時間の搬送が続けば、救える命が救えなくなる危険性があるとしています。

大阪市消防局が今月１９日と２０日のコロナ患者の搬送状況について調べたところ、患者のもとに到着してから受け入れ先の病院が決まって出発するまで、２４時間を超えたケースが３件あったということです。

最も長いケースでは丸二日近い、およそ４７時間がかかったとしています。
その間、救急隊員らが、患者の健康観察を行い、必要に応じて酸素吸入などをしながら受け入れ先が決まるのを待ったということです。

感染拡大に伴い、大阪市内の新型コロナ患者に関する出動件数は急増していて、感染が落ち着いていた３月１日からの１週間では２３件だったのが、先週は４９１件と、２１倍になっています。

こうした事態に対応するため消防局では、６９ある救急隊を最大で６つ増やすことにしています。　

大阪市消防局では、長時間の搬送が続くと、その分一般の救急搬送にも影響が出かねないとしたうえで、救える命が救えなくなる危険性があるとしています。
