「西側諸国はISISの存在を受け入れるべきだ」とトルコ諜報機関の長官が発言

MITの略称で知られるトルコの諜報機関の長官であるハカン・フィダンがその発言で波紋を呼んでいる。
エルドワンの側近として知られるフィダンは、シリアへのロシアの軍事的介入を批判しながら
「ISISの存在は現実としてわれわれは受け入れるべきであり、ISISのようなよく統制されて支持された組織を排除することは不可能だ。
西側諸国はイスラームの政治潮流に関して考え方を改めるべきだ」などと述べた。

Fidan, a staunch ally of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, condemned the Russian military intervention in Syria,
accusing Moscow of trying to ‘smother’ Syria’s Islamist revolution and serious breach of United Nations law.
“ISIS is a reality and we have to accept that we cannot eradicate a well-organized and popular establishment such as
the Islamic State; therefore I urge my western colleagues to revise their mindset about Islamic political currents,
put aside their cynical mentalite and thwart Vladimir Putin’s plans to crush Syrian Islamist revolutionaries,”
the Anadolu News Agency quoted Mr. Fidan as saying on 15 November.
